Building & Grounds Committee
Vestry Liaison: Dave Lewis
Committee Chair: Les Parsons
Purpose: Responsible for the repair
and maintenance of the parish property, including the grounds and the
interior and exterior of all three buildings.
The Grace Calvary Building and Grounds Committee is responsible for the following:
- Grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, blowing debris off walks and driveways, picking up branches and cleaning gutters (this work is contracted out).
- Repair and maintenance inside and outside of all three buildings including such items as HVAC, plumbing, lights, roofs, decay, paint, and driveways.
- Preparing and controlling the Building and Grounds Vestry approved budget which includes utilities, property insurance, repairs and maintenance, landscaping, lighting, ground maintenance, gutter cleaning, workman's comp insurance, alarm system and fixtures and equipment.
- Organizing two or three congregational workdays per year to clean up and spruce up outside all three buildings and inside the church.
- Building and grounds items needing attention are communicated directly to the chairman or to Jean Chance for passage on to the Committee Chair.

Statler, Pat Statler, Mark Gardner, Walter Jarck, John Moss, Roy Bruner, Jack Grimes,
Margaret Parsons and Les Parsons.
Sub-Committees:
Kitchen Guild Chair: Bob Parker
Purpose: To manage the
maintenance and clean up of kitchen in St. Julian Hall
Space Allocation Chair Bob Parker
Purpose: To develop and manage
a process for usage of buildings and rooms.
Holy Cross Cemetery Chair: John
Kollock
Purpose: To supervise the use and maintenance of the
cemetery.
